A Grand Floridian Tour
For those determined to see all of Florida! Explore the popular Atlantic beaches. Dance in the Miami heat. Soak up the tropical sun at Key West. Visit the peaceful white beaches of the Gulf Coast of Florida peppered with resort towns. Swim with the dolphins, and then share a meal overlooking the sun setting below the seas.
Breakfasts are included every morning.

Your Itinerary
Day 1: Jacksonville – Tour Begins
Start your tour by arriving in Jacksonville. Get to know your fellow travellers at the welcome dinner.
Day 2: Jacksonville
Take time to enjoy the art and history museums throughout downtown Jacksonville. The evening will be at your leisure.
Day 3: Jacksonville – Vero Beach
Vero Beach is an elegant city located along Florida’s Atlantic Coast, that offers a fine selection of shops, peaceful beaches, museums, and nature tours. Dinner will dockside.
Day 4: Vero Beach
Today will be a leisure day. Shop or go to the beach. Relax and spend a spa day at the resort. Whatever your heart desires.
Day 5: Vero Beach – Miami
Miami is one of the world’s most popular vacation spots. It offers something for everyone to enjoy: a trendy nightlife, the energetic Little Havana, plush resorts, endless shopping, and more! Your visit is limited by time and your imagination. Dinner will be in the mesmerising aforementioned Little Havana.
Day 6: Miami
There is so much to do in Miami! You get the choice to do as you please.
Optional excursion: Visit the Everglades National Park. You will be back in Miami in time to explore the nightlife. $10 extra a person
Day 7: Miami – Key West
Take the long drive from Miami across the Florida Keys to Key West. Key West, the southernmost point in the continental United States, is famous for lively nightlife, beaches, historic sites, and its unique architecture. Dinner will be beach side.
Day 8: Key West
As Key West is famous for its beaches, you get to take a beach day.
Optional excursion: Visit the Dry Tortugas National Park. This excursion will be a long day trip, and will include over 4 hours total in open water. Lunch will be included in this day trip. $180 extra a person.
Dinner will be beach side.
Day 9: Key West
Today, you will explore the history of Key West.
Optional excursion: Visit the Ernest Hemingway Home & Museum, home of one of America’s most honoured and respected authors. $14 extra a person.
Optional excursion: Visit the Harry S. Truman Little White House, the winter White House during the Truman Presidency. $22 extra a person.
Day 10: Key West – Fort Myers
Take the ferry from Key West to Fort Myers. Fort Myers is popular for its beaches, fishing, shopping. You can experience unique natural encounters, play on the beaches, and treat yourself to endless attractions and restaurants. Dinner will be beach side.
Day 11: Fort Myers
Explore the historic and beautiful city of Fort Myers.
Optional excursion: Visit the Edison and Ford Winter Estates, the historic homes and gardens of the Edison and Ford families, as well as the Edison Botanic Research Laboratory. $30 extra a person.
Day 12: Fort Myers
After breakfast, you will visit the flora and fauna of southwestern Florida by spending the afternoon at Six Mile Cypress Slough Preserve. End with the day with personal time to explore the city as you please.
Day 13: Fort Myers – Tampa
Get a head start on the day with breakfast, and then take off to Tampa, the largest bay port in Florida. After you settle in, you will be having dinner in the historic Hyde Park neighbourhood.
Day 14: Tampa (Clearwater Beach)
Today, you will spend the morning and afternoon exploring the beaches and boutiques of Clearwater Beach, a Rasmussen Travels favourite destination. Before heading back to Tampa, you will then get a dinner at a beach-side restaurant.
Day 15: Tampa
Your afternoon will consist of a tour around the historic downtown of Tampa, learning about the history of the Spanish influence of Florida. Your evening will be leisurely downtime to explore as you will.
Day 16: Tampa – Panama City
Bid the Tampa Bay area farewell, as you travel to Panama City, Florida, a blossoming artistic centre of visual arts. Dinner will be of local seafood close to the water.
Day 17: Panama City
Explore what makes Panama City a new mecca of the visual arts by visiting art galleries and art centres. The evening will be on your own.
Day 18: Panama City – Pensacola
After breakfast, you will leave Panama City for Pensacola, a true Floridian resort city and one of the earliest European settles in North America. Dinner will be on the beach.
Day 19: Pensacola
Take a beach day! Pensacola is not a resort town for no reason.
Optional excursion: Explore historic locations, such as Fort Barrancas and the historic lighthouse. $48 extra a person.
Day 20: Pensacola – Tour Ends
Say goodbye to your fellow sojourners and take home with you the wonderful memories of your trip. We hope to see you again soon.
